Last Saturday, one of our lucky staff members won the prize of coming in to the office to pick up our new toy: Apple’s® new iPad™.  We opted for all the bells and whistles, so that we can use it for testing and developing applications.

We are pretty excited, and have been working on app development for the iPad since the developer kit was released.  The media is abuzz about the new device and next few weeks will be an iPad frenzy as they begin to arrive.

The iPad is a great new device that takes mobile computing and application development to a whole new level by being ultra portable, mobile and convenient.  However, there are many other tablet devices set to come out this year that are really amazing as well, and definitely deserve some attention.

For this week’s column, we’ve decided to tell you about some of the other tablet options and why we are pretty excited about them too.

WePad

German Company Neofonie™ announced a new entry to the the tablet market: the WePad™.  Not to be confused with the iPad, the WePad has a very impressive arsenal of features and hardware.  Based around Google’s open Android operating system, the WePad boasts a 11.6″ display, a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor, a webcam, USB sockets, a flash card reader, and many other impressive features.

With the Android operating system, it will be able to download and run apps from the Android Marketplace, as well as its own WePad AppStore, which means that current android apps should be able to run fine on the WePad, or have WePad specific applications.  Also, unlike the iPad, the Android OS allows multitasking which creates a much better user experience.

Even though Neofonie has a working prototype that they showcased last week, they have yet to announce a release date or purchase price.  But even so, if it can do everything they say it can, it is going to be one of the most impressive tablets on the market, and it provides encouragement to those looking to build apps for android phones since they will also get to play with tablet devices.

However, the WePad isn’t the only upcoming Android-based tablet.

ARCHOS Home Tablets

Announced earlier this month by the French company Archos™, the ARCHOS 7 Home Tablet and ARCHOS 8 Home Tablet are the latest in their mobile computing options.  The Archos Home Tablets are each designed for specific applications, and each targets a different market.

The Archos 7 is the smaller of the two, sporting a 7″ touch screen, but it comes packed with power, and is probably the least expensive of all the tablets listed here, at just $200.  The Archos 8 Home Tablet is larger and is intended to display like a picture frame, which is meant for the home or kitchen.

For example, you could prop it up in the kitchen and use it when preparing a meal to access the Internet, pull up recipes and cooking instructions or chat with people online. Then when it’s not in use, you could it could just display pictures or video.

That’s not to diminish the power or portability of the device, however it is meant as a compact stand-alone computer that can be displayed in any room in the house.  But for a more mobile and portable device, the Home 7 tablet may be a better fit.

Both of these devices run on Google’s Android™, and they each reach a very specific audience.  As a software developer, we definitely see the potential for developing custom apps for these devices, especially since the apps would be available to all Android devices as well.

Archos is also expected to release yet another mobile internet tablet later this summer, called Archos 9, which will also be powered by the Android OS, be slightly larger than the Archos Home 7 and include improved web connectivity.

Notion Ink: Adam

Based out of India, Notion Ink™ was founded with the express purpose of creating tablet computers.  Notion Ink has cutely called their first creation Adam™, a very impressive tablet that runs on the Android OS.

Among its features is that it runs Adobe Flash to leverage the best of rich internet applications, has a 180 degree swivel camera for video chart or taking front-facing pictures, multi-touch support and 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity.  In addition, Adam also features a Pixel QI transflective screen. What is that?  It is a 10.1 inch screen that can switch between backlit LCD mode like on other tablets, and a low-power electrophoretic reflective mode, which looks more or less like e-ink, making it a great solution for switching between video and ebooks and greatly extending battery life while reading.

Expected to be released this June, Adam claims to have up to 16 hours of HD video playback, supporting 1080p video, all powered by a dual-core ARM processor and an NVidia GPU.

Adam really opens up the door to future application development possibilities for mobile and portable devices.  Needless to say, we can’t wait to get our hands on one.

Microsoft Courier (Rumored)

Jumping back to the US, Microsoft™ has a “secret” upcoming product called the Courier.  It still has not been officially announced by Microsoft, but the web is full of demo videos and pictures all showing prototypes of the device.  Does that make it true? No, not necessarily.  But the rumors are so juicy and the Courier looks so good that we can hardly resist.

What makes the Courier especially unique is that it is actually not a tablet—it’s a booklet.  It has dual 7-inch multi-touch screens, which means that you get a lot of screen space, but it folds down into a very compact size.

Not much is known about the exact specs on this device, but we can be pretty sure that it will involve Microsoft’s new Windows Phone 7 operating system, which should provide plenty of power and diversity to the device.  Also, the Windows Phone OS app development uses XNA, .NET and Silverlight, which are used in the development of Windows and gaming software, which should make courier apps very powerful and versatile.

HP Slate Windows 7 Tablet

Another US contender, Hewlett Packard™ announced their Slate™ tablet set to be released as early as June.  This one also comes with an estimated price of $540, which is right in line with the iPad.  However, the HP slate also boasts Flash capability, a faster processor, and runs on a Windows 7 Platform, meaning that it should be able to run anything that you can run on Windows 7, including any internet browser, Photoshop and games.

However, managing traditional Windows applications with only a multi-touch screen may not be the best solution in all cases, and so it also has Bluetooth capability and USB ports for easy attachment of a keyboard or mouse.

We are slightly surprised that HP went for Windows 7 instead of the Windows 7 Phone OS, but in either case it presents some exciting capabilities and considering it comes from an already well known brand and beats the iPad on specs, it could become a very popular platform.

Dell Mini 5 Android Tablet

Unveiled at CES earlier this year, Dell® announced a concept 5″ tablet that runs on the Anroid OS.  It also comes with 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity and is a mix between a large phone and a tablet.  Or in other words, it is a really very smart phone.

Dell is also running with Android, which makes it another platform for Android apps and those that develop for them.    The Dell Mini 5 also boasts a 1GHz Snapdragon processor that should give it plenty of power without sacrificing batter life.

Spring Design Alex Ebook Reader

Spring Design™ combines a traditional E-reader with a second LCD screen, based off of Android OS.  This beats out other dedicated E-readers because it has a web browser and provides the best of both worlds.  It also comes with Wi-Fi connectivity and Ebooks from Borders bookstore.

The combination between and E-reader and  LCD provides for some cool combination applications as well as improved battery life and better readability of web page content.

Once again, the Android OS means some compatibility between other Android powered devices, which provides even better distribution for Android applications.

JooJoo

Singapore based company, Fusion Garage™, announced the JooJoo™ late last year.  According to their website, JooJoo is based off of the African word “joujou,” meaning magical device.  And this device is magical.

With a 12-inch LCD screen, the JooJoo boasts the ability to play HD videos and has Wi-Fi capability.  This product is currently available for pre-order, for around $500.  One thing that makes the JooJoo different is that it runs apps completely through the Web and runs on its own proprietary  operating system.

Fusion Garage announced their tablet just before the iPad and so has become an underdog in the news.  However, according to Fusion Garage, orders have actually increased since the iPad announcement.  In either case, this probably will not become a mainstream device, but it is an alternative option that may be worth consideration.

Lenovo U1 Hybrid Notebook

Lenovo® has been working with small netbooks and tablet PCs for some time, but the U1 hybrid™ notebook represents a shift in their tablet technology.

The unique feature is that it is essentially a netbook – small portable and similar to a laptop, but then the screen can detach and function like an independent slate tablet.  This literally puts two PCs into one device, and each has its own processor and operating system, but work together as a clamshell laptop or a multitouch slate tablet.

In this way, the base serves as a hop and docking station, whereas the tablet can be used in very mobile instances.  The two processors also use Lenovo’s Hybrid Switch technology which allows seamless toggling between the two processors.

The U1 runs on the Skylight Linux operating system, designed specifically for small devices, and has a user-facing camera and a wealth of features, including 3G connectivity, multi-touch, and long batter life.  Unfortunately all these features cost a bit more than other slate tablets, pricing it at $1000, but still within the range for new laptops.  It should be available by June of this year.

Lenovo also has a few other small notebooks coming out this year, including the Skylight Smartbook.  Lenovo still pairs their slate tablets with a keyboard, but that may prove to be a positive bonus to those who are dissatisfied with touch-screen typing.

As a developer, we look forward to continuing Linux-based development, and it will be exciting to see if mobile application development takes off on this type of platform.

Conclusion

If you noticed, there are a whole bunch of Android powered devices.  Market studies show Android taking over Apple’s iPhone OS as soon as 2013, and you can see with so many devices running on Android that the market for Android application is only going to get larger.

We are currently working clients to develop applications the iPhone/iPad operating system, as well as the Android OS, and have achieved remarkable results for our clients.  This market is only going to grow, and even though we are excited about our new iPad, and even our Microsoft Surface (a giant tablet?), custom software development for these new devices is something that can help businesses reach and engage users in ways that have never before been possible.

Of this, Adobe’s Flash product manager Adrian @ Ludvig argue that, Flash technology is perfect, has been applied in 70% of the game and 75% of the online video, Apple has its own equipment to users and content publishers restrictions, it is clear that they were protecting their own interests. In his view, Apple’s Web site to prevent users from watching Hulu Free programs for the network to sell its iTunes store content. The United States “PCWorld” magazine by Raphael said, iPad restrictions from Apple’s not the whole idea of open, closed system, strictly limited to customers of Apple’s consistent style. With the iPhone, like, iPad applications are produced in Apple’s own backyard. At present, Apple’s application store has 140,000 procedures.

For chip manufacturers, the bad news followed: iPad are running Apple’s self-designed processor chips A4. Some analysts believe that, given that they had been using other suppliers of chips that Apple’s new initiatives to achieve a strategic transformation of the first step. In April 2008, Apple spent 278 million U.S. dollars acquisition of PASemi chip design company. To informed sources, Apple’s own design chips, they did not want to share with other HP F4809A F4812 Battery supplier, plans for the future of the relevant information.

Tom @ Foschi well-known Silicon Valley observers noted that this was a profitable model, Apple’s launch of each new device in autistic deeper into the abyss of years, but they each earn more money overall. Since 2001, after the introduction of iPod, Apple’s stock price has increased by more than 23 times, and now it has become an annual income of 50 billion U.S. dollars of the super-giant.

Jobs is right, and now most worthy of boasting that, despite the company’s strategy for more and more closed, but Apple fans seem to have to put up a great mind, loyal customers flock to Apple’s store is still an endless stream.

On this point, the industry is also feeling curious. Foschi said, I know that Apple’s iPhone can put your close up, and now I do not know what Steve Jobs could use such a big coup for 10-inch screen, put your closed.

The publishing industry last straw?

In any case, Apple iPad The advent of the book publishing industry is still so cheered. Publishers convinced that this new device with a large screen is DELL INSPIRON 500M SERIES battery for e-reader, will help them from readers and advertisers get more income, but is increasingly hard times in the book publishing industry will also be new lease of life. Right now, the rampant piracy on the Internet works, the days of Free content so that they can become more difficult.

Conference, Jobs announced the online program shop iBookStore Zhengshishangxian, from which users can purchase e-books, and read on the iPad. He said that Apple has the world’s five major mainstream publishers formed a cooperative relationship, and now will open the door to other publishers. Discerning eye could see Apple’s intention – want to reshape the publishing industry, just as in 2001 when the iPod came to launch a revolutionary like the music business.

British “The Economist,” the authors pointed out that if history is any guide, then the area of Apple’s involvement will not only intensify the competition among equipment manufacturers, but also enable those who have previously cautious about e-books to consumers and publishers are willing to try it a new technology. Market research agency iSuppli predicts that sales of e-readers will be 100 million units in 2008 and 500 million units in 2009 to grow to 12 million units this year.

In fact, the Amazon Kindle e-reader to publishers that have been hot, consumers are still willing to dig into their pockets for the books, but the Kindle has already e-book price low, and does not allow advertising on the content publisher , publishers hope that Apple’s entry into the field can reduce the influence of the Amazon. Market research firm Forrester data indicate that the current Kindle e-reader 60% of the total market share. MacquaireCapital senior analyst at the @ Sizhuo Dolce said that publishers supply content and price controls is full of desire.

However, the book publishers are likely to find the wrong person. Take a look at the situation the music industry’s past and know how naive they think.

A few years ago, Steve Jobs with iPod players and iTunes online store single-handedly shattered the rigidity of the music industry business model, everyone is talking about Apple’s how to help save the music industry. In fact, even have more than 3 billion songs sold through iTunes, Apple did not prevent or reduce piracy. The International Federation of Phonographic Industry (IFPI) Chairman, said there are still 95% of online music downloads is illegal. In this process, Apple is more than 2008 Wal-Mart, the world’s largest music seller.

Nevertheless, some publishers still believe, is COMPAQ PRESARIO R3000 SERIES laptop battery diminished for the book market, and led by Apple to open up Xinjiang’s border might be a better choice. Deloitte & Touche accounting firm in charge Phil @ Esman Henderson said that this really is a publisher to grasp second chance at life.

iPad will not solve all problems plagued the publishing industry, but it does for trying to rebuild the business partners to provide a solid platform. Gartner analyst Mike @ McGuire said that in this Free alternative to popular in today’s world, Apple than any other company better able to allow consumers are willing to pay for its products.

Encountered strong resistance

Regardless of whether the advent of iPad regarded as a revolution, and Apple’s introduction of new products each aimed at creating new enemies. Now, Steve Jobs must face the same legendary strong competitors, such as the Amazon.

“Amazon’s Kindle e-reader has done a good job,” conference, Jobs @ Amazon founder Jeff Bezos evaluation is not without irony, at the same time made no secret of elevating themselves “We will go further on their shoulders.” He later said in an interview, “In fact, the Amazon and the publishers are not satisfied.”

While Amazon has some critical words, Steve Jobs still have to admit that Bezos is indeed done a good job in the past few years. Since the 2007 debut, Kindle has become an Amazon best-selling products. More importantly, it has successfully opened up a HP PAVILION ZE4400 battery new market.

It is now generally willing to spend 9.9 U.S. dollars in the Amazon online bookstore to buy an e-best-selling book. Bezos said, Amazon sold 10 per paper, while the book, there are six books to be downloaded. Bezos Kindle sales were never made public, there is news that it has sold 3 million. “Barron,” The author believes that even if there is competition from Apple, Amazon will continue to maintain its leadership in the digital book market position, especially given its strength in the physical book market.

From the perspective of e-reader, Kindle does stay ahead. iPad is a backlit screen, a charge can be used 10 hours, 3G version is priced at 629 U.S. dollars. In comparison, Kindle’s electronic ink displays will not damage the eyes, and battery life of two weeks, and the user need not pay for 3G services, its price is only 259 U.S. dollars. “The New York Times” cited independent analysts as saying that Gerry @ phuldi, Kindle is quite good, perhaps iPad some impact on the Kindle, but will still be people to buy Kindle.

The face of Steve Jobs’s upset, Bezos did not hand in your pocket. To informed sources, Amazon has acquired New York-based touch-screen technology company Touchco, for the Kindle’s technology upgrade, and thereby start competing with the Apple iPad.

In addition, before the release of the iPad, Amazon raised the standard royalties paid to publishers, hoping to draw more publishers. Bezos also announced the opening of Kindle e-book application platform, welcome outside developers to develop applications for. Amazon promises will make up 70% of the share ratio. It is reported that already more than a dozen developers are considering or have already developed software applications for the Kindle. This has been the application of Apple stores for several years hard work is definitely not what the HP Pavilion ZD8000 battery news.

In fact, in addition to the strong electronic reader to obstruct the field of experience, Apple has also had to contend with other competitors to carry out more fierce battle. Previously has been reported that Microsoft’s Tablet PC market is expected to return this year. Microsoft executives have been let to a number of publishers, then said it would as soon as possible “Courier” Tablet PC. Recently, Google ChromeOS Tablet PC operating system, “spy photos” circulating on the Internet. Google ChromeOS end of this year the official release of the operating system, will no doubt be a serious threat to iPad’s market position.

Bin domestic blog authors expressed are not optimistic about the future of Apple iPad, in his view, with the advent of the Internet age, Microsoft and Google, respectively, extending their reach to the Apple site, the most important is that this is open to two products, When the refined layout of the two companies, Apple’s prospects are disturbing.

Fancy tablet PC market, there are many competitors. Earlier this year, organized by the United States International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), including Lenovo, Hewlett-Packard and Dell, etc., are also a number of manufacturers have set his sights on a flat-panel market. In addition, the chip company Freescale has announced the launch of color tablet PCs, the price is estimated that only 200 U.S. dollars. Mobile phone manufacturer, Motorola has also threatened to take part in the battle for Tablet PC. Tablet PC competition in the field of pattern is evident.

In the iPad conference, Jobs appears to Shenqingziruo, but the hands are not good-looking face of this card, this preacher How can he prove that he would like the Grass Art Center in the same portrait of the immortal hero of the wall.

Wow! you Really Can Create a Dream Life

I know this is boasting, but Im proud to say that this idea was invented by my son and daughter-in-law.

Do you sometimes have trouble focusing on your dreams and goals?

Sometimes we dont quite know what all our goals really are; we dont know how to get started on the process of getting ALL our dreams written down. It may seem too big a task. We even dont feel worthy enough of the things we secretly REALLY want. As we have learnt from The Secret we get what we focus on. This is a fantastic way to move into a high energy vibration for abundance.

This idea came from my son Richie, and daughter-in-law Anneli who both had mentioned that they were having trouble with the discipline of visualising every day. They have been using this method for nearly 2 months now and their goals have become very clear and are now written down in specific detail. They have also told me that they love doing this, and that the act of writing down exactly what their dream life is really brings them to that place of actually having it Now.

And BOY, are they getting results in a hurry!

So I thought you would like to try this too. I am doing it, and it really is fun.

Its about understanding the Law of Attraction and taking some ACTION for ATTRACTION that will help you draw in more of anything and everything you want in your life.

Its a really high energy idea. The more you do it over 30 days, the more energy and excitement you will experience around your goals. Its amazing.

This energy game is for: discovering your goals manifesting money, relationships, health, people dramatically expanding your vibrations creating excitement and high energy around your dreams.

Its all about you creating your Dream Life for the future.

When should you undertake this ACTION for ATTRACTION? When you are wondering what your goals really are. When you feel you want to Kindle more excitement and desire about the things you are wishing for. When you dont quite know how to get started, or how to think BIG. When you want to create a feeling of abundance in all things. When you want to change the way you think and feel about your future to a more positive mindset. When you want to attract more of everything good into your life.

People, wealth, travel, romance, fun, riches, abundance! Its a great game to play.

Here we go! The Rules of the Game are right here:-

Create Your Dream Life.

This is a game for your imagination. Havent got one? After 30 days of this game I promise you will find it is definitely there.

How to Play: Get yourself a nice notebook or set up a page on your computer. Call it My Dream Life.

Create several headings/pages, one for each area of your life. You can always add more later when you get a good idea. Some Examples: Lifestyle (which can include your home and environment, travel) Body, Soul, Mind (health, education etc) Relationships (family, friends, workmates) Love Anything you think of that you want

For 30 Days: Write about your Dream Life last thing at night (or first thing in the morning) the idea is to be regular/routine about this. This is important; when you do something for at least 30 days, it becomes a habit. Once YOU have done this for 30 days, it will become an automatic part of your life!

First write down three things you are grateful for today. I have a section up the top of My Dream Life called Gratitude which I add to every day. Starting this way puts you in the perfect frame of mind to start on your Dream Life.

Now, spend about 15 minutes on your Dream Life. Write under any heading you chose today, you dont have to do them all in one day. Write in the present tense as if you are excited that you already have it. Example I am so happy that I am sailing my new xxx/type catamaran I am thrilled that I have received an Honours mark for my xxx exam I am so rapt that my body is really flexible and fit I am delighted that my Dalmatian puppy is here in his kennel

When you add notes to something you wrote previously, try to be even more specific. Think of EXACTLY what you want, and write it down. Its exciting. If you are on the computer, search for pictures to add to your ideas, if you have a book, it is easy to find great pictures in magazines. You can add spreadsheets of your ideal budget; the ideas are endless.

During your day take notice of the things that you would like to have. Notice magazines, billboards, lovely houses and gardens, shop windows and even other peoples clothes and bodies.

Get excited as you write, and especially when you start to add more embellishments as the days go by.

Over and over again you are creating in your imagination the feeling of abundance and excitement when you write about the things you want. Over and over again you are experiencing the glow of abundance. You will begin to feel abundant. You are opening yourself up to the great vibrations of abundance.

Unexpectedly miraculous things start to happen; things you have written about will start to show up in your life. The more energy and excitement you put into this the more the Universe will respond. Out of the blue you will get a brilliant idea of how to get something you want, how to earn some more money, how to make that trip happen that you didnt think was possible.

30 Days now no slacking off. Its worth it I promise you. After 30 days, why not just keep on going? Youll probably find that its a really fun thing to do so you will want to continue anyway.

Its the LAW OF ATTRACTION in ACTION. You have to feel the abundance first BEFORE it actually happens. And this is a fantastic way to do it.

Your Outcome: You will bring yourself into the right vibration with the Universe and the Universe will bring you plentiful bounty. You are feeling excited about your future and the more specific and detailed you become, the easier it is for The Universe to bring you what you need to move you towards your goals. This is fantastic fun to do.

Go for it. Youll surely be amazed at the results of this game. My son Richie has agreed to give an example of his Dream life to show you how he does it which is too long to add to this article. You can find them on his blog page at http://selfhelpandmeditation.blogspot.com/2007/10/visualising-how-to-keep-your-goals-in.html Note how he writes as if he already HAS his dream.

Secret Methods of Home Work Business Opportunities Scams

Posted in Kindle Secrets on November 13th, 2011 by kindlebooksfree – Be the first to comment

 Powered by Max Banner Ads

Home work business opportunities scams have become the order of the day on the internet. And the menace continues to grow in leaps and bounds. Each day you come across newer and newer scams and scammers. In fact, if you happen to be a bit net savvy and have ever scoured the net looking for a ‘Get Rich Quick’ opportunity, you already know what I am talking about.

Reportedly, more than 90% of these so called home business opportunities are outright scams. What they actually do is capitalize on peoples hopes, take advantage of human weaknesses and finally succeed in emptying the wallets of the common man. Most internet marketers (scammers included) are well aware that its not just making money with home work opportunities but making easy money that is one of the single biggest motivational factors for anybody. It’s therefore not surprising that its the number 1 searched topic by millions of net surfers each and every day. What people look for in the real world applies equally well in the online world too. It is common knowledge that given good business opportunities to work at home, most people would be far happier working for themselves than under a boss who is breathing down their back. No one really enjoys work pressure or work politics, right. And above all we would like to work to our own schedules, not someone else’s. Perhaps, these are some of the principal reasons why the most heart attacks occur on Monday mornings!

In case you haven’t noticed it yet, internet marketers and clever scammers alike draw heavily on this knowledge while drafting their sales letters especially those relating to business opportunities for working from home. Just recall how many times you have come across a sales letter that harps on themes such as-’Work in your pajamas’, ‘Fire you Boss’, ‘spend more time with your wife and kids’, ‘work whenever you like to’ or ‘work from your vacation home’ or island or whatever it is that really pleases you. Sounds familiar ? Savvy marketers understand that the act of buying a product is driven by human emotion and is therefore impulsive in nature. It becomes logical only afterwards in order to justify the wisdom of the purchase decision. That’s why you will invariably find these themes built into sales letters for home work business opportunities because they are meant to appeal to exactly that – your emotions.

Close scrutiny of an effective sales letter for a home work business opportunity will almost always reveal a distinctive pattern. So much so that, you can safely conclude that the more effective they are, the more likely it is that they have stuck to the pattern. It is well researched human psychology that people respond positively if you can instill hope or fear or cause a sense of urgency or appear as an authority or appear to be unbiased or even unusual. Taking the cue, today’s cyber sales letters are deftly crafted, cutting edge works of art that have all these concepts and more woven into them for best effect. Some examples of this in action are- ‘Learn how I made a million dollars in 15 minutes’ (kindles hope), ‘Don’t be spied on’ or ‘you don’t want any legal trouble’ (evokes fear), ‘prices to go up in 2 days’ or ‘the discount ends today’ (creates a sense of urgency), ‘I made $300000 from Google last year’ or ‘I am a member of the International Home Business Entrepreneur’s Association’(appear as an authority), a 3rd party or reviewer like style to the letter (to appear unbiased), ‘Stop reading and leave if you can’t invest in your future’ or ‘Don’t buy this unless you are convinced the others are bad’ (appear unusual to earn your loyalty).

Even a savvy surfer who is proficient in these techniques can occasionally fall prey to one of these cunningly crafted devices blinded by the lure of easy internet riches. But the vast majority of those that do so are enterprising young men and women from all walks of life who are often unaware of the powerful sales conversion techniques in operation here and mistake it for a proven income opportunity. Its a matter of much regret and concern that the internet in the short span of time since its advent into the larger public sphere has already transformed itself into a safe haven for spammers, scammers, pornographers and fraudsters touting home work business opportunities.

If at all there is something that we can console ourselves about, it is the fact that there are still a few really good and legitimate home work business opportunities out there that truly work. However, like the proverbial pin in the haystack, it takes more than mere foresight to identify a genuine one from the vast and ever increasing population of internet fraudsters. You will always do well to conduct a fairly in depth review of a prospective opportunity by doing a Google search on it or by visiting popular or eclectic forums on such opportunities where you will have the chance to enquire with present users of the program as to how they are doing with it. Please take the time to do this. It will go a long way in helping you make an educated decision for yourself as to whether it indeed is a proven income opportunity or not. If anybody tells you that he’s got a secret to share with you on how to make a million dollars in 15 minutes flat or that there are residual income opportunities out there that require little or no investment of your time, money or effort, you better watch out. Unfortunately, there are no business opportunities that give you returns for no investment of your time, money or effort. Its against the Common Law of Business or for that matter home work business opportunities to not invest anything at all in a venture and yet earn an income from it. There are simply no home work business opportunities or even an already proven income opportunity on the surface of this earth that will succeed for you without good old hard work, patience, dedication, investment and enterprise.

It is worth re-iterating that none of these home work business opportunities will work, not even a genuine and proven income opportunity if you are new to the concept of hard work. Its becoming increasingly difficult to identify good home work business opportunities that work thanks to the continuing proliferation of fraudsters who constitute the vast majority. Good home work business opportunities can only provide you with the system and the tools, its up to you to make the best use of them. You can lead a horse to the water, but you can’t make it drink it.

Unlike physical books, creating an Ebook is pretty much easier and publishing it can be achieved with just a few mouse clicks. Until a decade ago, writing a book and getting it published was the exclusive privilege of just a few writers. In the internet age of today, anyone with a computer and basic knowledge of the English language can write an Ebook and publish it without any pains. The 3 secrets discussed below will help you further with Ebook publishing.

1. Research a topic

The first secret of a successful Ebook publishing is researching a topic on which many people are looking for information. Various popular search engines can help you find several such topics to write on. Once you have decided on the topic, conceptualize the size and layout of your Ebook.

2. Writing the Ebook

You now have the topic on which you intend creating the Ebook. Once again, it is the search engines that can help you compile your ebook. There are two ways to compile an e-book and the first one is to look for relevant information, and present the information gathered in a cohesive manner. Lifting text from another web site and pasting it to make it your own is unethical and can attract severe penalties.

3. Publishing your Ebook

Once your Ebook is ready, you should move on with Ebook publishing. If you own a web site, the first thing to do is incorporate the Ebook into your website. Follow this up by submitting to Google and Amazon Kindle.

Ebook is an acronym for an electronic book and eBook writing is similar to regular book writing. The major difference between the two is that an eBook is usually significantly shorter and is printed electronically instead of being printed. This makes and eBook easily available to anybody who is interested in it as they download it immediately and get the information they need as opposed to going to a book shop and checking if it is available or not or ordering it and waiting for it to arrive.

Even an eBook had it limitations though as it could only be read on a computer. Products such as Kindle, which was introduced by Amazon, have made eBooks even more popular as you no longer need your large computer or laptop. You can now read the eBook using this nifty little portable device. Since the advent of the Kindle, more and more people are learning eBook writing in an attempt to cash in on this innovative money making opportunity.

How do you Write a Good Book?

If you are one of those who’d like to write an eBook, you need to know the basic premise of writing a book. A good book typically opens with a conflict that is resolved at the end of the book. This is true of non fiction as well as fiction books. An eBook will usually present a problem to the reader in the title of the book and then demonstrate the solution of the problem during the course of the book. In most cases, eBook writing is non-fiction writing that is usually used to sell an idea or a product.

Panic Attacks and Kindling: Building a Different Fire

First of all, this isn’t going to be a discussion of how to build a Fire. Uh no, this is a review of a fascinating physiological phenomenon that I consider a physical contributor to panic attacks and anxiety. And that’s because the limbic system, particularly the amygdala, is highly susceptible to the effects of kindling. Now, before we get to work I want to make sure you know that I’m going to be cramming thirty pounds of information into a five pound bag. Okay? Well, let’s get busy.In the strictest sense, kindling is the term used for the generation of brain seizures by electrical stimulation. The pioneer of kindling, Canadian scientist Dr. Graham V. Goddard, believed kindling is a process of “message formulation” induced by repeated natural electrical stimulation of small and selected groups of brain cells. Now, scientists can also trigger these epileptic seizures in animals through repeated mild electrical stimulation of deep-brain structures. Curiously, as this electrical stimulation commences the effects are barely noticeable. However, sensitivity to the stimulation intensifies with repeated administration, ultimately leading to the animals seizing spontaneously. Yet, in spite of all this electrical zapping and seizure activity, physical damage to the brain is undetectable. In the real-life world of brain physiology, chronic life-stress can generate kindling-like stimulation with accompanying mental, emotional, and physical manifestations. Drug abuse and withdrawal, particularly involving alcohol and cocaine, can as well. This expression of kindling is of great significance to depression and bipolar sufferers, as it appears to stimulate and exacerbate mood cycling both in the immediate and down the road. Indeed, a specific life-stressor may initiate the kindling process with no symptoms in the present, only to have expressions of mood cycling pop-up later in life without the influence of a specific stressor. Now, it’s important to note that research isn’t suggesting this is a matter of having actual epileptic seizures, as we traditionally know them. It’s more an issue of a similarity to the strictest definition of seizure-generating kindling we reviewed in the second paragraph.Okay, let’s bring this kindling business to the panic and anxiety section of the stadium. Kindling can play a mean tune on our limbic system, in particular the amygdala. And this results in the generation of a whole lot of fear and anxiety. At the beginning of this discussion we talked about how electrical stimulation of the brains of laboratory animals generated barely noticeable seizures in the immediate. But, we also learned that the sensitivity to this electrical stimulation intensified with repeated applications, and the animals ultimately begin to seize without any stimulation whatsoever. Well, chronic over-stimulation of the amygdala, or any number of our forged neural highways, may lead to a hypersensitivity to fear-generating stimuli and a propensity toward hyperarousal. Doesn’t that make sense? I mean, consider the scientifically confirmed dynamics of neuroplasticity, the notion that neurons that frequently connect tend to establish long-term working relationships. Well, I believe kindling and neuroplasticity sit in the same section of the ballpark. So, let’s consider a real-life example of kindling to bring the point home. I’ve written about our HPA axis and noradrenergic (having to do with the neurotransmitter and hormone norepinephrine) system in previous articles. As it applies here, let’s just say the end result of their work is the activation of our fight/flight response; and we become rough and ready to deal with the threat at hand. Well, research has noted that early life trauma may have something to say about how all of this works, and it’s thought to go like this. Someone who’s been exposed to such trauma develops a hypersensitive HPA axis and noradrenergic system due to their overuse so soon in life. It seems our bodies just weren’t designed to deal with excessive amounts of their secretions so early on. These secretions include cortisol, norepinephrine, and epinephrine. So, as a result of being chronically overworked, these systems become super-sensitive and super-reactive to stress. And as the years go by, any exposure to stress, even in what would seem to be tolerable measures, only serves to agitate and exacerbate this already hypersensitive and exhausted stress response. Ultimately, one ends up attempting to live life as an adult with out-of-control biochemistry. And this goofiness well exceeds design tolerances, resulting in any number of physical, mental, and emotional outcomes; including panic and anxiety. Yes, in this case, early life trauma, and its snowballing biochemical fallout, actually alters neurophysiology in the immediate, as well as stimulating psychopathology in the future. That said, kindling must be considered a significant biological contributor to panic attacks and anxiety.
